Smoke Dust

Cold smoking of products is century old technique to extend the shelf life of products. Nowadays, it’s really only done for flavor. Smoke Dust is the smoking wood for cold smoking. Kamado Essentials sells Smokin’ Flavours’ smoke dust because it is prefect quality and natural components. The smoke dust is used in the “snake” or Cold smoke generator. This Cold Smoke generator fills well with smoke dust and places at the bottom of your Kamado. Then by placing a tea light on the holder and lighting it, you start the cold smoke process. Then place your products to be smoked and let it do its thing! A properly filled Cold smoke generator can even burn for about 8 to 10 hours!
