Smoking dust is the smoking wood for cold smoking. You use this smoke dust in the ‘snake’ or Cold smoke generator. Fill your Cold Smoke generator with smoke dust and place it at the bottom of your Kamado. Then by placing a tea light on the holder and lighting it, you start the cold smoke process. Then place your products to be smoked and let it do its thing! A properly filled Cold smoke generator can even burn for about 8 to 10 hours!
